The other day, I purchased an ebook creater software from a DP member. I have down loaded the software on my PC. But I have to yet install it on my computer. When I try to install eWriterPro by clicking on set up, it says: "Cannot Install SETUP or INSTALL program. File name contains folder information. Use actions/check out instead" What does the above statement mean and what exactly am I suppose to do? Please help me to install my eWriterPro ( ebook creater related ) software on my PC.
Just PM / Email the person who send you that software and ask him to send you instructions to install it.
The DP member who sold the software to me is not replying to my PM'S. That is why, I have decided to create a thread here. I have got 24 hits but only one replied.I am yet waiting for someone who can help me out with this issue.
I'm using Windows XP. Maybe the software have a problem if you install it on Windows 98. Try to test it at other people PC who is using Windows XP. If you still can't install it, the problem is on the setup file itself.
Hi!, dynashox I know that the software is meant to work on windows XP. But the seller had assured me that it will also work on windows 98, provided I have enough memory on my computer. Now, he is not even answering my PM'S. Can you. Can you exactly guide me how to tackle my present setup issue?

I'm guessing this answer ... but the "use check out/actions" makes me think that the file is in a zip ... right click the file and select unzip here ... or extract all... then try to install... hth starlord
I have now been able to install the the software half way. It now says "Required .DLLFile, MSCOREE.DLL was not found" Now, what's that? How to solve this issue now?
This software requires the .NET Framework to be installed in order to run. You just need to download that and install it from Microsoft's website.
