Well I won't bother to fill up this thread with a lot of useless nonsense and just get to the point On June 18th I ordered a uTorrent WebUI from him for $55 Every day from that point on I received a PM "It will be done shortly" or "It will be done within the hour" until I contacted him on MSN where he informed me that he had some hardware issues. That's understandable, I'm not sure why he couldn't have told me that before so I wouldn't need to waste both our times daily asking why it hasn't arrived yet. He told me he would set it up right then and proceeded to sign off MSN. I contacted him the next day again, same story. I'll do it right now, and sets status to busy and logs off. Basically, He told me again two days ago he will e-mail me the information and did not. I waited for him to sign on MSN and contacted him, but did not receive a reply from him for the 4 hours I was on So in short, I'm not sure what kind of person he is considering I had been paying for two dedicated servers at the time from him and it seemed to be great, but the endless runs of stalling my order & lying really agitated me. I felt obliged to post this because hopefully it will provoke him to either refund or me complete the order, which I ordered 2 weeks ago now. In the mean time, I don't recommend him for any sort of hosting at all
well i understand your sentiment. but then again, to make this more convincing you got to show more and good evidence to somehow bring this profithost down as he has but all good reviews. not on his defence but to your advantage to provide proof. my 2 cents.
Of course I have tried PM'ing him. I've been talking to him on his personal MSN for the past 3 days to try and get him to do something, which he still hasn't Here are some of his PM's I have received. Then, with no contact for a few days I then replied no and I didn't receive any reply for the next 3 days when I finally got him to send me this after I asked for a refund Of course, the information didn't come. I talked to him on MSN, and I got the same BS multiple times "It will come in the hour" "I am setting it up now" I am quite honestly fed up with it and I am aware he has good reviews which is why I don't understand why he is pulling this crap The only way it seems I can ever get him to respond to me is when I ask for a refund. Just two days ago he told me it was ready and asked me for my e-mail on msn, I gave it to him. What did he do? He signed off and I didn't receive anything I hope this post will get him to do something, either way I am no longer going to buy dedicated servers from him anymore I just want either a refund or the WebUI I ordered
Oh no! Not more I'm sure he has some explanation too it, but waiting longer then 24 hours for anything less than a dedicated server is too long. Keep us updated on how it goes
Phh 24 hours, try 2 weeks I'm not trying to "bring down" ProfitHost, it's just obvious that Profit|Jacob isn't doing anything so I'm hoping this thread will force him to take action
Hey, I wouldn't say that waiting more then 24 hours for a VPS or VDS would be to long tho! Depending how it's getting done, for an example for those who do manually creation of the VPS and manually activates the licenses etc! It can quite some time to setup a VPS when you do it manually And on top of creating new VPSs then you have customer support, advertising, sales support etc etc... So there is always alot to do for a webhosting company! But for a shared and reseller hosting account, then there is no excuse what so ever to not have those services with instant setup as any billing system supports it

Problems with the delivery of a 1gbit server. An overworked staff because of some network upgrading and a recent hack on 3 of our servers. We expect everything to be normal again after this week. But I guess these thing just are a dark side of the business we are in. Much regards,

Hello, I have purchased a service - shared hosting from Profit|Jacob and I am NOT HAPPY with the results. A little story: I have purchased the package from here and I have uploaded 2 web sites. After aprox. 2 weeks the server stopped responding and my web sites were down for 2 days. I have contacted the support form from his web site - and I even made a phone call and leave a message because I nobody answered. I did a research and I have sow that 3 proxies were uploaded on the same IP address and so on ... After 2 days the server was back and was working normally but I did not receive any reply to my messages Yesterday the whole server was hacked and index pages were replaced with hacked pages so my web sites weer no longer working and I did not have access to the CP. Again I have write email, call, and so on ... no reply .. yet And today - the ultimate surprise the server is no longet working. .... So - if you offer a hosting service and you are willing to offer 1 month trial to test your service please PM asap and I will move my 2 web sites (I need less than 1 gnb space and less than 50 GB bandwith per month). And for Profit|Jacob - please consider refunding my money ASAP - otherwise I will start a dispute on paypal because the uptime that you mentioned is just a story. Your service is BAD and I do not recommand it to anyone. I am a serious dp member and I have purchased several services from this web site and I have to admit that this is the FIRST TIME when something bad happened with a service purchased here.
I do not see what we can discuss by MSN. The server is down. This is the third time. I will go ahead and start a dispute on paypal ... paying this guy was actually a BIG mistake ...
seems his servers ain't stable anymore, its better to switch then facing more problems after problems...
