    Hey,

Is any one else having problems with saving login information for like forums?

When I tick remember me on my forums (Mainly bodybuilding.com, focused.org and DP) after I close it I need to log in again!

It's pretty annoying. I have cookies etc enabled until they expire. I think FF3 has major bugs. I want to move to safari but I think it doesn't support my addons.

Make sure you click the "Remember Me" checkbox. Try the Secure Login Password Manager for Firefox 3.

so far no problems with FF3.

only problem is little bit slower than Opera..
is it too much to ask speed start up after all those years of beta versions..

most of my passwords are remembered by the browser..
if i lost my browser, ill be in big trouble..

    for ur problem
remember to tick the remember me nextime checkbox and
always push the remember here drop down button from the browser,

if that didn't work .. install a different version in another location .. it'll work

I don't have problem with "remember me" with FF3, it's automatically login every next time i use it. And you don't lose any data just install FF2 and it will replace FF3. If you're afraid loosing data, you can export your bookmark but from my experience there is no problem. I will downgrade to FF2 too, it's v.2.0.15 rightnow

I have tried Firefox but have found comfort in Opera most days. It just seems easier to use. Every time I get angry with Opera for some glitches I try Firefox. I tell myself I will switch to Firefox and how it will be better, less glitchy but it just never catches me. While Opera has some catching up to do it is still my browser of choice.

I use FF3. Maybe I have been conditioned to like it given I've been a FF user for a couple of years now, but I really do like the fact you can install some very useful plug-ins such as Firebug and FoxyProxy. The FF3 release also focused on minimising memory usage, so it's one of the most efficient browsers in that regard.

My only complaint is the stability of the browser under Linux, where it regularly crashes and hangs the whole system (for me anyway!). This is using FF3 under Slax Linux v6 on a KDE desktop. Not sure if this particular problem is with FF3, Slax, KDE, or something else, but the whole system regularly hangs after anywhere between 5-30 minutes of browser use (only crashes when the browser is in use) and the only way to fix it is via a system power cycle. No issues with FF3 on Windows on the same system though.

Firefox 3 today is the underrated browser that works well with surfers because it's user friendly and very efficient in terms of anti bug and pop up blocker..

Yes, FF2 is better. I suggest you uninstall your FF3.
    Or try Safari.

Of course you can downgrade. Search FF2 on the Big G.

I have these problems when I am using 2.0.0.14...But its not problem with firefox ...its with your PC...My cookies were begin to get deleted when I restart my PC...Then I uninstalled firefox and deleted all cookies and "Application Data" from my PC and reinstalled firefox....it worked like a charm...I have no problems now....
