My Earning Drop because EntreCard

Today after reviewing a week with out putting entrecard on one of my blog, my adsense earning increase.

I think this because due to the traffic entrecard delivered, that most of the people come from entrecard just want to drop / not targeted traffic

has someone got similar experience?

 

entrecard proved to be worthless for me as well. i only use it on on of my blog and will be taking it off soon

 

Entrecard has SOME value. You can use the EC credits to buy links from other EC-using sites. You can use the EC credits for stumbles or Diggs. Also the traffic boost also has an accompanying Alexa boost (although Alexa is figuring bounce rate into their calculations now so this benefit might be short-lived) can help sell sites for a bit more cash.

The positive thing about EntreCard - you have a chance to place banner add on some popular blogs (like John Chow for example) paying only with ec credits. Also if you have quality blog you can gain some new readers and RSS subscribers.
I don't see how having more visitors (even bouncers) may decrease your Adsense income... If you have constant user base or continue your promotional efforts besides EntreCard - your earnings should at worst remain on the same level.
May be you did some other changes on your blog that could affect SERPS and traffic...

 

EC is a perfect fit for the new blogs to build backlinks. So reputed blogs need to worry about their earnings....

 

i had the same thing happen on my blog - took entrecard off and my revenue went up, just today - might just be a conicidence though

We will have decrease in adsense earnings if we add EntreCard widget on our website/blog

 

I tried entrecard myself and found the traffic to be worthless. It is quite a waste of time to participate in that program IMHO.

Entrecard is useless and the owner is very selffish, it looks like his programmers are left with no credit of things they created and he takes all the fame (which he really isnt famous), i took it off my site and added it gain, but then removed it, Entrecard wont have much effect on Alexa ranking or other rankings anymore.
