I need to know how to take a picture from a video in Windows Media player so I can place the picture on a website.

I have read how to get a screen shot on sites found through google but the screen shot includes the Windows Media Player. I don't want the WMP to appear in the photo.

Basically, I want to pause the movie and take the still picture, copy it and save it on my hard drive. Then, I want to be able to post that picture on a website.

I will pay the person with the best post $7 USD via paypal. I will wait 48 hours to see responses on this post. I will PM the person with the best response and ask for their paypal info. Once paid, I ask that you post in the thread that I paid you.

    Thank you!

Just do a screen grab, and crop out WMP. Or use VirtualDub to export a single frame image sequence.

I'll do it for free if it's a video that's already online.

use the print key on your keybaord and paste it into an empty paint document so you won't need a special software

Before you do anything, is this video yours ?
If not, do you have permission from the owner of the video to put the picture on your website ??

If you use Windows XP import video into "Windows Movie Maker", and export/take the snapshot(s) from there.

    Hope this helps ;)
