Ive seen that system by the way. You supposedly provide a basic marketing seminar to a bunch of noobs off craigslist. But yeah, the spam is pretty annoying. Isn't there a minimum post count in order to PM?
I've had two of these today, the first one the user is now banned - but I guess he is going to keep creating new accounts.. There should be a way to prevent any more messages containing the URL that is in those PMs Can an admin do that?
Think about it, the poor kid. How time consuming it must be to go on forums and pm all the members with spam. You would have to sit at your puter all day doing it. It seems much easier to post around with your sig.
Forward the PM to a moderator. I did that with the last few spam's I got and they were banned within a few minutes.
