KEI is the biggest joke in seo today. KEI is bassed on the number of search results and has little to do with competitor ratings. Worry less about how many listings show up in the index for a given keyword as most people don't use search engine optimization techniques anyway.

    Hi hardip2057,

Totally agree with the above response, stay clear and worry more about the money keywords you wish to rank for.

The keywords shuld be meaningful to the site and they should be common and frequently searched ones..those are the most effective keywords...

I seems like KEI was a big concept 18-24 months ago but seems to have died out in recent months. Although even how you calculate it seems to vary. The idea seems to be simply to create a number that combines popularity and competition that can be sued to compare against other KW.

I think no single tool can be trusted better use the combination of two or more tools to find better keyword.

KEI analysis is quite easy to rank in the top ten results because there you can get only niche keywords, but there is no use to bringing the site in to ranking on niche keywords.
