Google in Graveyard :)

    I was reading latest r&d program by google and its bit shoking
    now google is launching new site where peaple can wirte name and it will find grave
    can you imagine find graves through google

    I doubt it's really going to happen, the records are out there but for the amount of work it involves there would be next to no benefit.

    I think what they are doing is making virtual graves which can also point to actual grave i m not sure
    only benfit is you dont need to go to graveyard
    send flowers to virtual grave :) and give comments about your love once

    Let us not disturb a dead one by diverting unwanted traffic to the graveyard. Instead let it go to some of the content rich traffic starved sites :p

    Well all that information is probably stored by government authorities and funeral homes, and chances are that's all in a database of some sort so it wouldn't be hard to put up a list like that.

    I don't think they could do it with their satellite imaging technology yet, it's not that precise. Just try zooming in with Google Earth - you can see houses and people, but they get very blurry and distorted at the highest level, so I doubt they can pull the text imprints off gravestones yet. But if they can, that's one hell of an OCR technology they've built lol.
