i keep getting private message notifications from this forum that are spam. Is there some sop regulation on this forum for this?
Such messages are really annoying!! besides, you can report the message with the senders ID , here-Suggestions & Feedback

I'm just turning my PM's off ... I don't use them for the most part and with my username starting with "A" (Obviously they are starting alphabetically) - I seem to be getting all PM spam lately before the spammer is caught :lol:
is this thing automated? off late i have also recived unwanted PM`s pitched with offers and services.
I'm not really that fussed it's what happens when you allow PM's. DP should allow you to turn off the PM function on your individual account if you want to.
It does actually. If you go into your User CP, then Options, about half way down the page there's an option for "Enable Private Messaging". If you turn it iff you won't receive any more PM's. But there is a downside to that - it stops all PM's, not just spam. So if you PM with people on this site, then you may have a problem. There are options to enable PM's from just moderators and people on your buddy list though, which might be a good idea to try.
There is also email option in user profile to contact member, the spammers may use that feature even you off PM. Best just ignore it.
Lucky me huh? It's really anoying, just today i received another one. Some kids never learn... wasting everyone's time.
That's something you can disable as well Pretty much any way somebody has of contacting you through this site is controllable in one form or another.
