I don't think that the # of years registered is an SEO factor, if it is I've never heard of that before.

Google increases or decreases PR on a schedule. PR changes are global to the internet or o sites indexed by Google for that matter. Just continue on building quality link backs and the next time Google does a PR update you will be happy.

    # of years registered is certainly an SEO factor. It is called Domain Name Aging. It is another way that Google knows if the website will be around for a a while.

I would go for 10 year registration if it is within budget. It will definetly add a benefit to your seo initiative.

squiddo has many thousands of visitors per day compared with your blog which might only have a few per day. Back links are important but page rank is also affected by visitor traffic. Also Squiddo are good at SEO optimisation and will autmotically do this for you and your lens will get indexed in the search engines more quickly as a result. Just keep building backlinks via blogging, article directory submission and submitting to social bookmarking sites.

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=903366 This might help you with some ideas if you can read between the lines :D

't has nothing to do with the visitors and with the number of links. In case all these 800 links are "nofollow" or just low quality, they will not affect your PR. It is much better to have just 10 PR3 links than 800 crap links.

Search engine results page basically the page were your searches results are shown.

So you type in "Rollerblades" and you might get 1 million results.

Well spotted, mate! And the truth it is! "Rollerblades" returned more than 1 million results, whereas "Raspberries" returned almost 7 million results. I have always said that Raspberries are more popular than Rollerblades.

Thank you for the valuable comment, it made me smile! :)
