Google Analytics - Stumped with traffic landing page

Looking at my stats over the last few days, I've noticed that Google Analytics shows that I have a lot of traffic that is direct to my site...ie not referrer based or search engine based, but type in traffic.

When I look at the landing page, it's some rather deep pages such as www.domain.com/very-deep-page.htm

I can see people typing in my domain name and going to the home page, but I just can't see people typing the full url for deep pages.

Is there any other explanation for direct traffic that would account for the deep url hits?

    Thank you

Anyone have any thoughts on this, I still keep getting a lot of direct hits to deep pages...it's a good thing though, not that I'm complaining, just wondering how they are finding these pages since it is direct traffic, not search engine or referral.

This could be bookmarked traffic or google is not able to understand the exact referral.
