    Yesterday I noticed a jump for a very popular key phrase I have been working on jump from position #22 to position #8 and I started getting 10 uniques per minute from Google for that search term. This went on until 6am this morning and now it is back to #22. I can't imagine if it got to #1 what the traffic would be like. It's been a long hard road for about 12 months to get this key phrase working though.

    Google seems to fluctuate a lot. I used to be number 1 out of 400,000 and now I am 60, it happened overnight. The same for another similar term, I was 2, and now 68.

    But on a more popular term, I was 278 out of 7,000,000 and now I am improving slowly, I am now 260.

    How do you find out which words are popular? I use Zeidgast but it does not show actual search numbers.
