*Hugs* I'm sorry for what you've been through. No, weight isn't actually even a factor that I, personally, take into consideration. I can't speak for other girls 100%? But I'm certainly assuming that unless the girl is incredibly fucking shallow (and why would you want a girl that's like that??) then she's going to love and appreciate you for who you are, not what you look like. We want someone that's going to appreciate us? Make us laugh? Sometimes make us cry and then make everything all better? And, be nice, thoughtful, appreciate the little things...you get the idea? I'm sure it sounds incredibly cliche and far too simple, but just be yourself.

Wow thats a pretty sad story. Credit to you for being upbeat about things. Have you tried joining a fitness centre. It will make you feel really good about yourself and you could shed some unwanted kilos. Join and online dating or chat site to find singles. You would be surprised to find that there are women out there that would relate to your issues.

Knock her down and hop on her. Seriously you should find out why more girls aren't attracted to you. Maybe ask a few why. Lose weight if that's a stumbling block. You should work out your priorities, whether you want girls or the current "feeling greatness". Shy guys NEVER get girls. Ok, they do, but try not to be shy. Atleast learn to smile at women. Be friends with non-shy guys. Hang out with extroverts. The shyness should diminish.
Practice makes perfect. Get out there and try. Shy guys only get girls when it's the "mysterious" shy type, not the "I'm not confident" shy. There's tons of books+articles and stuff, Google is your friend.
Jason, if you are happy and comfortable in your own skin like you say above, then that is ALL you need. Seriously. A persons spirit, personality and attitude is what carries them, not looks alone. If your happy, confident and content - it's gonna show. And that my friend is what makes a person truly attractive!

You have to learn the key is confidence, you could be the biggest fattest slob but if your confident, down to earth and a generally nice person this will get you alot of woman. Woman like confidence and ahem money lol :kidding:
