Oh, trust me, man, I hear ya. My asshole neighbor took my paper this morning and, well, he won't be doing that bullshit any more - trust me. And his damn dog joins him in hell.

Ah - the breath of safety in my lungs. I feel so...so...so serene.

LMAO!!! Dude I have the same problem with my neighbor. Any suggestion of what type of weapon I should use? Also should I shoot him on the back while he is not looking? Or just do a surprise attack?

I'm about as pro 2nd amendment as anyone, further than most.

I however fear something such as this having a detrimental effect on gun ownership, not something positive in the least.

What's next after all? Cops shooting and asking questions later when they see someone walking out of a dark alley?

I'll say it again. I like visuals.

Criminals know there is a chance that they will be killed. People in the US were often killed for stealing before the 1930's. Stealing was not out of control like it is today.

very good visual LogicFlux...lol I like it

this isn't the 1930's and what that guy did was wrong.
what those two burglars did was also wrong, but not kill them wrong.

Texas made a mistake and i'll bet it ain't over. you never know, the feds may
    get involved in it.

    Ding, ding, ding...

My main worry. Something could very well get taken to the supreme court, it could create the possibility of a ruling that is anti 2nd amendment rights. If that happens will people still be cheering that you should be able to kill someone who is running away for stealing your neighbors property?

So everyone is saying they didn't like the use of force? The man was protecting his neighborhood.

That's what cops are for. (besides eating crispy cremes and beating up innocent black men) Protecting yourself or someone else from bodily harm is one thing, but running after and gunning someone down for stealing someone's property is quite another.

No one was in danger for their life, the use of DEADLY force in my opinion was not justified. If you do what he did here in Florida you get a mandatory life sentence.

Texas decided it was okay and justice was served. Justice was swift for the robbers.

That's fine. Texas should be able to decide if that's the way they want it. We that don't think it's right don't have to move there.
