David Cook Fanclub - $15 Rank Image contest

I started up a a David Cook fanclub called Cook's Crew and am looking to add in new rank images. I'd like them to be the exact size of my current rank images but want them a little more flashy and legible. The ones I have on there now are nice but are kinda hard to read on higher resolution screens. I'd also like them to be themed more towards the site. Maybe working in an image of a guitar or something music related.

Please no American Idol in it, David is no longer on A.I. and our site is more about his post AI career now. If you want to get a feel for the site prior to creating your design you can check out the mainpage at http://www.cookscrew.com and the forums are at http://www.cookscrew.com/forums The attached ranks are currently in use on the forums but I've had several complaints about them being hard to read. I'd like for you to use the same (or very near the same) colors for each rank that I have now, but the design is all up to you.

I'll choose the winner by what design I think best fits in with my site. I'll let this run for at least one week, possibly longer if I still haven't gotten a design I like.

I am willing to award the winner $15 via paypal or moneybookers...you're choice. The dimensions for each rank image are: 120 x 20 and please keep the format to jpg or gif.

Ahh, very snazzy...I like What are the dimensions on them as an individual file? Redders, I also like like your designs...

 

I'm glad you like it ,as individual file the dimension is 149x46 !

 

Can you shrink them down alittle (maybe the overall size) Joker without losing the clarity of them? I have my ranks stackable and some people will have 2-4 at one time and that is the only drawback I see to your design. Also, I'm assuming they would have an outer transparency since the guitar overhangs the tag itself?

 

if you want i can make the guitar a little smaller too !

Not to take anything away from the creator of those, but I would think that if those were made smaller to fit your dimensions the words would be very small

 

That's right , but i think that there is no problem with those dimensions , i have biggers on my forum , and they look good anyway

If i make the guitar smaller like in image , than the dimensions will be 142x38 :

Joker...yeah, smaller guitar is better, also if I choose yours you have some typos that would need fixing.

Mistake, I like your design as well. Can they be alittle brighter closer to the original colors I currently have?

 

I actually used the same colors you did.. Your ranks are glossed on top.. so I used the original color at the bottom. But I'll post it again in a few mins.
