Of you that have products selling on Clickbank could I ask some questions? How long after signing on your product with clickbank til you started seeing sales? And of you with ebooks, is there a high ration of returns? What is that percentage. Finally, where else is a good place to offer an ebook product to be sold by affiliates, besides clickbank?
I've started with clickbank today too. I think the best option is to stick with a single payment processor... and sales would normally appear in short time if your product is promoted enough. Good luck! btw which is your sales page? mine is this one
I've had a product up at Clickbank for one month (as of today.) It took about 12 days before we made our first sale as there were definitely some growing pains in getting the salesletter looking decent. I also lowered the price from $77.67 to $57.67 Obviously improving conversions is an on-going process. I just keep trying to make the page look better and I keep trying to improve the copy. I also think it's a good idea to set up good pre-sell landing pages and send your traffic to those first - I think it's a mistake sending traffic directly to your salesletter - whether as an affiliate or as a publisher. Conversions go up by sending traffic to a pre-sell landing page. So far I've had 6 different affiliates make sales (one of those is me.) So far I haven't had any refunds, but I'm not getting too cocky about that - I don't have enough sales yet to really know what my refund rate will be. You can check out my product in my sig ($31 commission.) I think it's best to just stick with Clickbank, you definitely never want to offer multiple ways to buy your product on your salesletter - affiliates will never promote a product that has another way of purchasing it (with good reason.)
I have not yet signed up with clickbank, as my ebook is still in the works, as well as as the site which will be www.make-him-pay.com I am trying to decide between clickbank or paydotcom
How fast you start making sales depend on how fast and how good your marketing is. No magic formula here bud.
Was really curious though on the process at clickbank on approving your product, and generally how long it takes for affiliates to start noticing the site and then promote it through clickbank. I downloaded your ebook by the way, I am implementing your tips presently. Sounds like a good start. Thanks for offering it lemonarian!
I was approved in a couple of days, but due to poor effort on promoting to affiliates I only make 2-3 sales from affiliates a month and the rest from direct SE and article traffic.
In your opinion, what would be the best way to market a digital product to get the interest of affiliates?
