This contest is for a technical staffing website.
    URL: http://www.techstaffjobs.com/

I need a logo and business card designed.

I will pay $20.00 to the winner that I choose.

Both the business card and the logo must have the slogan "connecting the best people with the best jobs" and have the website also(techstaffjobs.com). You can use TSS acronym in the logo. A logo that fits with the slogan would be ideal.

Business card must have editable text with spot for name, title, phone numbers(cell, office, fax) and address.

The winning logo must be provided in .GIF/.JPEG form and in original design form with layers(photoshop, illustrator, etc).

Color scheme should be based off the website.

Deadline is 48 hours from now.

    good luck!

Is the T-Shirt logo supposed to be almost like a name tag on the front right hand pocket? 6''x6'' isn't very large.

as long as it prints out about 6"x6", it will work.

I'm trying to think of something to fit in such a small space. How about something like this? I've tested it against multiple different colored backgrounds and it seems to not have bothered the actual design itself.

    Logo on White Background:

    Logo on Black Background:

    Logo on Light Blue Background:

This is just the logo itself, in a 6''x6'' canvas size. I'll work on a design that you like first before I take it into a actual card design. Any suggestions will help.

I'm going to work up a different design real quick, I'm not quite happy with the one above. If you have any suggestions tho, feel free.

its not bad... it seems a little bit "too busy" if you know what I mean. I more simplistic design should work.

I would like some sort of graphic in it... like a chain or puzzle pieces connected or something... to go along with the slogan.

    so for example...

chain graphic/puzzle pieces/or something else fitting
    TSS underneath
    Slogan underneath that

I recommend changing the red to a green color from techstaffjobs.com, and maybe take a bit of the reflection off of the puzzle pieces and maybe change the opacity of the puzzle pieces to lower level to make the words stand out more, and that would be a solid entry!

    nice!

edit: make the words not transparent at all, so they are bold, with the colors changed to blue and green(from the website colors), and make the puzzle pieces more transparent so the words stand out.

    I like it though.

Let's try this a little more of a flat style, using the current color scheme on the site.

    How's this:

Last change I recommend... make the colors of the words stand out more than the background...

I wasn't trying to push it very dark but if that's what you need..

    Try this one:

It's looking good. I would make the colors in the letters a bit more "colorful"... like more bold shades of green and blue, and make the background a tad bit less transparent and its a very solid entry. And one of only 2 entry's so far... :)

I picked up the opacity from 55% to 70%, and pushed the green and blue a bit darker, taking away the white gradient as well. I'm not sure how this works for you...
