I did a search but apparently 3 letter terms don't search "one on top of the other". Anyhow, I have a long blog front page with lots of scrolling thru various front page articles. Is it ok to have one skyscraper adsense on the left column right on top of another?
because once a visitor scolls more than 1/3 down the page, the viewer no longer sees any advertisements and just the middle preview article pane.
Its ok, but it can actually make your readers go grr on you. Of course, not to mention that it might also negatively affect your ctr. Make the adsense on top of pages if your traffic is most organic.
ok, after scratching my head why my revenue per click suddenly dropped this month i think this was the culprit and turning point. i was too much of a noob to understand why CTR would matter. but now that i've researched the term smart pricing and the importance of maintaining high CTR now i'm a believer of no ads on top of another. rookie mistake.
