Yes i can say that vista rocks.. ok it must be a little slow but hey we have better facilities in it.. im happy with vista.. So guys just ACCEPT It
Don't agree with either of you two, XP ROCKS! I hate vista, I got a new laptop and had to remove vista from it since it was soo slow and annoying, now it has xp!
To start a argument. I find it funny that Micosoft can completely screw up in XP, but because PC's have over 80% of the market share, everyone had XP, so all those terrible bugs like stupid searching, unexpected application crashing, registry crash, BSOD, etc. everyone thinks its so awesome that Vista doesn't have these bugs. In reality, Microsoft didn't add anything good, they just FIXED half of all the darn bugs that XP has. I would prefer XP over Vista anyday and Microsoft decided it was alright to sacrifice looks for performance. That aero junk is just worthless. I can get Ubuntu eye-candy to look better then that. On the contrary, with companies like Apple that produce operating systems like Tiger with virtually no flaws, then in Leopard fix all the flaws plus add over 300 new features is quite incredible. So you tell me, would you rather rejoice over the fact the Microsoft fixed (didn't make better, but fixed) all the error and bugs they created in XP, or would you rather rejoice over the fact that Leopard not only is the most stable, performance-built OS ever, but it still blows Vista and XP away with features. Plus Snow-Leopard is concentrating on more of a performance standpoint (scheduled release: 2009) making Leopard even better. And when are you going to admit that almost everything Microsoft makes is good, but is cheap, faulty, and frankly, pathetic? Along with the fact that you won't see the next build of windows for about 5 years now... Cheers
NO NO and NO to VISTA. I wont accept it. And now almost all laptops are stuck to that ST**ID OS... grrrrrrrr For me with no hesitation XP RULES...
Ha ha ha. That's hilarious... "just ACCEPT It" you say!?! Screw that. Why would I accept something inferior? Because its the newest consumer version of Windows? Again, screw that. I want the best operating system out there, and for me right now that's Ubuntu 8.04. If Vista is the best OS for you, that's great, but I'm not about to accept something that in my opinion is a big pile of sh*t. Microsoft even gave me a free copy of Windows Vista Ultimate, and guess what. I don't use it, I don't have it installed, and I never will. The DVD makes a great Frisbee though. P.S. I did run Vista for about a year, so I speak from experience when I say it's a big pile of sh*t. My hardware: Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4GB RAM.
lol you guys hating vista and adore win xp. just take look at forums what people sayed for xp when he just showed up. to slow, needs bunch of resources, 256 mb ram for comfortable work and when you look 2 gb is cheaper now then 256 7 years ago. if you dont like vista dont use it.
If you find your vista slow running try the performance edition. Unlink XP when you install to many programs your computer slows down I have way more programs installed then I would ever install on XP and it hasn't even tried to slow down!
and to add few more lines. i personally dont like vista look and feel, but for a windows user who like stability vista is king. maybe i need new memory, new cpu, new something, but at least now i have stability. my vista works same as i just installed her before 1 year and 2 months, in that time i had maybe only few strange restarts (and i changed motherboard, cpu, 3 graphics card, 2 modems, 2 soundcards, and still it is almost stable as my mandriva system, while i had win xp i reinstalled it every 6 months and daily restart was a usual thing to do. anyway i use xp on my job and at home vista/mandriva i can not say to anyone is best. but i can on mandriva in same moment burn dvd, watch divx, listen music, play some game and everything will work fine on 512 mb rama, on vista and xp you can only imagine this... p.s. every horse has a buyer so as vista
Worked for a multi-national corp that had a strict no Vista policy. Talked to a few IT people and they all hated Vista.
