If backlinks disappear wil the site be deindexed from Google?

I have a few sites of unique content that had a single link going to each. The backlinks were removed and the sites no longer appeared in the Google index. Anyone care to explain this?

No, indexed once, you will be there forever (unless you will put no-index tag), but your position can decrease, pr can fall down.

They do get deindexed if you lose the links, maybe homepage and a few pages will stay say 10 pages but thats about it.

check your content in copyscap site. If you have unique content then copyscap not show any result. If he show other sites then your content duplicate or that's why google put your site pages in supplementary pages and slowly slowly your sites finished in index.

    OR

If you have .info domains who,s out of index so google write an article about it and google said that he disappear .info domain from google index slowly slowly. I have pr 5 domain in .info and google Disappeared it. :)
