Hey guys, I own various different websites, all in different niche's, so far I havent been concentrating on promoting these websites though I have now come into some serious need of traffic. Basically, I am just asking the simple question: "What are the best ways to increase traffic to my websites?" Are there any services I can use such as Text Link Ads? All help will be appreciated. If I were you, I would go with PPC advertising. But it all depends on your niche(s) and the level of competition for your chosen keywords...
Pay per click advertising is probably the fastest way to get traffic but may not be the best depending on your budget. I am still partial to writing and submitting articles, and then using blogging and social bookmarking as well.

If you use Article Marketing! then try Twitter it can bring alot of traffic for you i just tested recently

Well, ads always help a lot. But I think the best free way is to change links with some other relative sites.
PPC advertising is effective, but advertising on other sites is a great way too. FaceBook, YouTube, etc, are great sources for advertising.
Article marketing seems to work the best for me. When I write an article, I general post about it on Twitter and Facebook. Twitter is amazing at increasing traffic to my site.
Pay Per Click advertisement sometimes fails to bring required fruits so i think, some new ways & means should be explore to promote web sits on line. I will advise SEO methods for promotion & marketing of web sites.
Just to make sure - what exactly is Article Marketing? Writing a good article that will eventually get linked to and bring traffic?
