Ebay - $ 40 million fine for having fake brand on sale

    The verdict was handed down by a French court and many other law suits may follow.

    Ebay appealed the verdict.


    In another case 2 weeks ago, Hermes got awarded $ 19,000.00 over 2 fake hand bags which were sold at Ebay

    Ebay gave a pretty silly statement and complaint to the verdict, which could further their troubles.

    It said that the protective measure to sell through suppliers with exclusive contracts only is hindering any competition and is not good for the consumer.

    Maximum silly indeed.

    So why not copy Ebay with exact the same design and brand and do business? Would they accept it?
