What is left to offer in directories?

Some good stats there EK, if i can build to 15 - 30minutes over the coming months i would be happy with that, as i need to keep the focus on sending the visitor to the sites being promoted, how long they keep them for is then their call.

 

Stop visiting your own site and then leaving yourself on it while you go to lunch every day.

I am working on the site building it,but it is unique visitors not just me. I have always had a good retention on the site, but not as good as EK is getting.

 

I get good traffic from 2yi.net.

 

I love how everything it taken at face value here without real proof of statistics. I could say I get an average of 12,000 unique visitors to my directory every day, average stay is 48 seconds and the longest stay was over 58 minutes and everyone around here would sit like a love sick puppy dog and nod along.

Spiderman, i can only talk for myself, but i will say if i put it up then thats what it is, period.

 

The only stick-ability for the level of time is a poker-room or porn site, or maybe a gaming site, NEVER a directory.

 

I have about a dozen or so new ideas that aren't currently utilized.
I surely won't be providing them for phpld, that's for sure.
Maybe I'll provide them via something of my own instead and start the web 3.0 phase :grin:

 

Directories just confuse me. I do not understand them.

15 - 30 mins - for a visitor to stay that long is pretty good, I wish I could get my stats higher for that length of time.

It's called Customer Retention, with the aim being to keep the advertiser buying advert space. Thus, a site needs to keep visitors returning again and again. It's much more than 'eye candy'.


I suppose keeping a site to the basic level is more appealing to the submission spammers, you know - each to their own and all that

And your going to prove me wrong by providing unedited screenshots of your admin are you? The only places other than the ones I mentioned above are sites like myspace and so on. If your going to tell me that you have a directory that has created that level of stickability where someone has stayed on your site for 11 hours then you need to see a psychiatrist.

Its more likely someone fell asleep while looking at your site and left the browser on.

If your stats were real Liam then why not cut and paste them from a screenhot? You've been so full of lies since you came on here that its really difficult to believe who what what and how your even here?
