May I know the server load average and do you have AIM or skype so we can talk faster?

The server load avg is something like 1-4 always.
The load has no effect on site loading since we use LiteSpeed Webserver instead of Apache.

hehe....i dont really want to say anything at this point because anything i saw will result in an infraction......All I can say is how can you have "unmetered" disk space, because i could have sworn that somewere I saw that your nodes had like 250GB sata II in raid 1 drives. I also think that fully unmetered services with no clear limits is against the TOS of this paticular forum....I would deff go read it....

 

Your site appears fine for me. Its loading pretty fast. It has lot of long long texts as well as images. So, normally it will take couple of seconds for loading fully. I don't see anything wrong. If you have any issues, you can contact us via our ticketing system or live chat for sorting it out, instead of screaming like this.

All our servers uses 500 GB hard disk. None of them use 250gb like you.

Well I got only one serious question, I don't want to ruin your sales. However, if you provide unlimited to everyone, does that not mean that you guarantee nothing? If you sell the 500gb to one person (wich you do, if you sell unlimited) then it means that you can guarantee 0 to the next customer if you host him on the same harddisk.

Now, because I know you are honest, and you have got good iTrader, I suggest that you maintain some sort of Fair Use Policy. To give you an example. If you have 100 clients total, and 90% of them is using around 1gb space of the 500gb harddisk. Then you can make the fair use policy to be like a client cannot exceed 50% above the usage of the average client. That way you can also publish these things, like the server stats, to show your clients that it is safe to host on your servers, because the usage is in control, and is not outrageous.
That way you don't have to use limits in your deals, with a clear TOS it is very safe to make certain claims. I am not here to attack you, but you will ruin your own sales if some large (adult) webmaster puts a part of his movie or image database on your server(s).
You can trust me on the fact that 90% of the clients will NOT use the space they have bought, but some will and one is enough to ruin the entire setup.

 

hehe....My good nodes have 5x 146gb 15,000RPM scsi drives in raid5.....So that counts as 250GB?!?!...lmao...And please do read the rules of this forum before you start posting complete unmetered services. Oh, and a 500gb sata raid1 array is as getatune put it "uber slow"

 

Please point me into the direction where it says Listing Unmetered Services are against the rules. Because I cannot find the thread where it does say that.

Also he has been listing Unmetered Services for sometime now and not one of his threads have been closed and I'm pretty sure he has not received a single infraction...

Also, "unmetered" means a client can use all the "available" resources.

Plus, as you know, getting a new dedicated server is not a big deal, Servers are available here from even 25 bucks.

I am doing honest business here since a year. Ofcourse I admit that I cant satisfy 100% clients as their needs will be different, and I have a good TOS that I do not break or do not allow to break.. No one can satisfy their clients fully if they have a good tos.

When did I ever say hard disk is the main thing that effects network speed? In a VPS enviorment the added IO speed created by using 5 different 15,000rpm scsi drives is HUGE....Even after calculating the parity of raid5 its still roughly 4 times faster than a single drive, plus the added 256MB cache memory. Also, using 4x dual core xeons gives 4 different FSB`s which also adds a HUGE speed improvement in a virtualised enviorment. Also, scsi drives are a thousand times more reliable than sata drives, and are actually intended for raid enviorments, so they last much longer. Please don`t EVER tell me i dont know what i am talking about, because sadly you are mistaken. That other guy did admit to me that he is not a RHCE(well of course), and as you said, i am already pissed off at him.

EDIT: Sorry for the bit about the no completely unlimited services are allowed....I was thinking of another forum. But honstly, how can you call your service UNMETERED....You have to set clear limits. It really bothers me when people claim you get an umetered 100mbit pipe, when in reality you cant burst to over 5mbits half the time.

 

they have set their limit in their tos... lol...

in their tos - no proxy sites, no public downloads sites, cpu limits 21% ... ..etc .... so unmetered here means its not like you can store all your computer content in their hard drive.

How would you like me to show you my raid array specs? I use hypervm as the control panel, but as i use hardware raid, all the independant scsi drives dont show up. IF you do need, i can show you the cpu specs and whatnot, because that is fairly simple to do.....And yes, each drives costs roughly $300. Even in a non virtualised enviorment, disk IO has a huge role to play in overall speed.
