$200 Logo Contest

I just found this...I know you didn't claim it as your own, but I think it's only fair that people realise it came from a stock site.

If the guy is paying $200, I would think he wants original work.. not a copy paste with some font added.

 

i think calling out designers who pass off other peoples' work as their own is always a good thing.

Speak for yourself, $200 might be a lot of money to him. I know for a fact anyone would be pissed if they bought a logo for $200 and later found out it was ripped off from another designer. Sure it is a stock photo but copyright prohibits to profit off it, which is illegal.

 

thought i'd toss in a couple of rough sketches, just to see if actual screaming frogs are acceptable.

 

I didn't criticise or slate anything each to their own. Just wanted the contest holder to be aware. Personally I wouldn't like to pay $200 for something that wasn't original. Perhaps that's just me.

When you think about it, why would someone pay $200 for you to just add 2 words of text to an image? They could do that themselves.

Thanks for all of the entries so far guys things are looking good. I'll be talking to the client a little later today and then I will have some feedback for you. Until then keep the designs coming, there is plenty of time so show us what you got.
