This is Iran. These are not murderous, vicious, or evil people. Like all wars, the coming war with Iran is being driven for political means. Thousands of innocent people will die. Americans will die. War has never produced peace. These are the things which produce lasting peace. Friendship. Trade. Diplomacy. Don't believe the propaganda. There is no reason to go to war. There is no reason that more people have to die. Planning a war months in advance is premeditated murder. Please use this thread to post your support for peace and negotiation with Iran.
Then maybe Iran should get off of that "Death to Israel" thing the president keeps spouting. No one is going to stand for such hateful rhetoric. Don't worry, if the U.S. does attack Iran, we won;t need to set one foot on the soil. We have enough laser guided missiles, Air Craft Carriers, and Bombers to handle everything just fine. I really don't foresee that happening. you can't listen to the ravings of analyst and editorial writers. They are not elected officials. It's like listening to gossip.
It doesn't matter what he says. Iran's only weapon against us is damaging the flow of oil, wrecking the global economy. They pose no threat, their speedboats are not racing up the Potomac. Israel has been just as belligerent to Iran as they have been in return. Israel has nukes, this is a regional squabble that doesn't serve our interests to get involved in. As far as advanced weaponry, once the Iranians bury the Strait of Hormuz, it's game over. You can kiss a massive amount of oil good bye, and no amount of air craft carriers will make a difference. The world will turn on us for creating an economic calamity.
Nah, guerilla supports that, as reflected in many of his posts defending Iran's repeated threats to Israel. He just doesn't support Israel fighting back or the fact the US (a country that he vehemently hates) is her ally. It's sad, but we do have some first and second generation immigrants occupying the US who think like this. Personally, I think they ought to go back home.
I think you need to get your combat boots on GTech and go and fight in one of Bush's "wars" as you are such a fan of his.
Debunked Conspiracy theorists these days. Experts confirm that Iran's president did not call for Israel to be 'wiped off the map'. Reports that he did serve to strengthen western hawks.
Wrong, as usual. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmou...2Vanish_from_the_pages_of_time.22_translation Islamists these days
How's Alex Jones doin' GTech? Become a big fan of him lately? From your link: Even though that quote is false in itself, since the idiom "wiped out" does not exist in Persian. Just how is that saying "I want to wipe Israel off the map"? Israel is a place, a landscape, in your fake quote it says regime.
Nah, you'd need to check with guerilla and AGS. They let alex do their thinking for them. AJ is one of the biggest loons on the web Once again, I have no reason to take your word. I've sourced material that clearly demonstrates that "wiped off the map" was used. Further, I don't have a lot of faith in you, but I can't help but think you might be smart enough to agree that Aham-a-dumb-jihader wasn't offering chocolates and roses to Israel when he said they would be wiped off the map. Not discounting, of course, all the threats he's made to Israel since then. Good on Israel for being ready for this nutjob, who once proclaimed Islam would prevail from the highest mountain tops. We both know who and what you support, thraxed. Please don't pee on my head and tell me it's raining
Thanks for all of the anti-war support folks! You are truly the harbingers of peace! Together, we can prevent unnecessary bloodshed and find diplomatic answers to our differences!
Your source did not clearly say wiped off the map, it said "regime wiped out". Just like the Communist regieme was wiped out in the Soviet days, without a war. Again, the idiom wiped out does not exist in the persian language.
Read it again, thraxed. You're trying to split hairs. Should I expect such a dumb tactic from you, or do you have better? Again, aham-a-dumb-jihader said it, he meant it, and he's continued to make threats since. Surely you are not trying to convince me otherwise? I'm not like guerilla and AGS. Delusion and denial don't work with me
No, I'm saying what is in your false quote. You post a false quote and that still dosen't even promote your argument lol. You are an old man, and have the maturity of a 6 year old, quite astonishing. Mabye you can take lessons from Northpointaiki on how to act your age.
What about these pictures from the Iran's revolution. http://www.litwc.com/2006/12/05/the-pulitzer-prize-winning-picture-that-defined-a-revolution/ This is what the government does to its own people who oppose it, image what it will do to people it hates.
The Shah, who is the dictator we installed, when we overthrew Mossadeq, an elected leader. Iran and the US once had really good relations. Before we got oil hungry and stopped them from nationalizing their oil industries.
Once again, I have to remind you that I don't take your word on issues. I've sourced material that clearly shows what aham-a-dumb-jihader said. Not discounting all the continued threats he's made since then. But, as an islamist, I know you support his goal of Jewish genocide. You really don't have to convince me anymore. There's that fascination with six year olds again. Once again, I could go there, but I won't bring up issues about prophets marrying six year olds.
Did al qaida install the Shah? Mossadeq violated his country's constitution and dismantled parliament in order to attempt to stay in power.
