I’ll confirm what many of you might have read but don’t believe, I know I didn’t for a long time. And that is it doesn’t matter how competitive a niche is there is still money to be made. Two months ago I started a campaign to test this theory and to my surprise it worked. I figured if I could make money in a niche like “Work from Home†which is uber competitive then I can make money in any niche. And it’s true. I found a part of this niche that needed work from home jobs and I’m making sales to them. . I lost some money at first but I kept testing, testing and testing some more and BAM…I started to see a return. The good thing about a competitive niche is that you know money is being made there. If you can find an angle on it you can also make good $$$ I read a lot about if you can solve someone’s problem then you can sell them anything, you know the whole “get to know your customer†thing. Well I can tell you I don’t really do much of that, maybe if I did my profits would be more but things seem to be working the way they are. I go about finding niches by just mad keyword research. I have about a dozen tools I use (all are free except for one) and every time I go to research I start with Google’s Keyword Tool. From there I expand the search and find out what’s there. I’ll make a post a little bit later on a great way to find easy back links to whatever you are promoting but right now I am out of time. Also just a side note to the affiliates promoting the product in my signature, I have now stopped all PPC advertising so your competition for this will now be even less!
some people get sick of these threads but i think they are necessary, even if just for motivation alone. good work mate.
Don''t worry about this. Some publishers payment processing isnt working right now. What I did to fix this problem? worked on other niche that are working
Yup. Good advice. Sell what is selling. If somebody works hard and can capture even a very small percentage of the sales made each day in the some of the big niches like water for gas, registry repair or work from home etc then they will be making some nice $$ Keep up the good work.
I'll confirm this as true as well. The super competitive niches have made me a lot of money and the ones with a ton of available keywords have done poorly.
All I can say is WOW!!! Your stats are amazing. Not only would I love to have a $200 day, I would love to receive a four figure check from CB every 2 weeks. Keep up the good work.
Ok I said I would be back with an easy way to find back links so here it is... http://www.webconfs.com/backlink-builder.php This tool searches sites that have words like Add URL or Submit Link and the cool part is that it is keyword based so the sites are some what along the lines of the keywords you are using. Hope this helps...
do you just do affiliate marketing of do you have your own sites that you market? I can assume that you would do everything pretty much the same for both?
Congrats! I'm studying up to find the best fit for me. Hope I find it soon, and start seeing those kinds of results! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi, these stats are great I am thinking of developing a site which allows you to promote multiple clickbank affiliate products After all the visitor should be offerred ways to view more than a single affiliate product Just an idea
Ahhh, yes... you know the clickbank "mall" scripts are all over... not a good idea. He really shouldn't be offered more than a single product, they get confused and end up with nothing. You show your endorsment for "THIS" product and not it's competition. 99.9% of the time the visitor wouldn't be able to decide which one and they most certainly won't buy both so they just leave and move on.
