Can a mod please help me?

I apologize for creating a second account which I know is against the DP rules but I don't know what else to do. I can't access my existing account for some reason.

I updated my e-mail address this afternoon in the user control panel. I then confirmed my e-mail address but it now says that my PM box is 100% full (it wasn't before I changed my e-mail address).

When I try to open my Private Messages it says...

"You must confirm your e-mail address before you can use private messages."

But I have already changed and confirmed my e-mail address. I'm unable to post and check my PMs. Can a mod please check my account?

    My original username is bigbluesky2006

    Thank you

You were having a bit of a problem previously, now after creating the 2nd account, I am afraid you are going to have real serious problem of being banned.

You should have reported this under the feedback section. Me thinks you'll be banned for setting up a 2nd account.

I'll report this thread to make the mods aware of your issue (and the fact you broke the rules :p ).

Can you tell me exactly what I am supposed to do when I can't access my PM's and I can't post under my existing account?

I've waited around all day because I didn't want to take the second account route but I have 13 domain auctions running and I think there is some sort of technical problem here.

My account has never had any problems and I've been a member for a while. Then I change my e-mail address in the Control Panel and suddenly I can't access my PMs, I can't post, I can't do anything. And yes I did verify my new e-mail address. It just doesn't make any sense.

If I do get banned it doesn't really make any difference because I can't do anything unless a mod sorts the problem out anyway.

But I'm really hoping I don't get banned because DP is a great place. I just didn't know what else to do.

I just want the problem with my existing account sorted out.

Why did you change your email when you have so much action going on?

I just noticed that this is in the introduction section

Reach out to another member and request some help - via their blog or site.

I really didn't think that a simple change of e-mail address would cause such a problem.

I was in the user CP and noticed I had an old e-mail address, so I updated it.

Then I confirmed the e-mail DP sent me and it accepted the change. But ever since my PM Inbox says it's 100% full and I can't access PM's or post anything.

I've contacted some other DP members but they don't seem to be able to get hold of a mod either.

Very frustrating when I have 13 domain auctions running. Good job they're not valuable domains I guess.

How long have you waited? Frankly speaking some mods are always online except for some dead hours of the night. I don't think reaching a mod is that difficult.

The problem is that I can't do anything with my original account. I can't send PMs or post. This is why I created this second account which will probably earn me a ban.

I waited about 8 hours from changing my e-mail address to creating the second account. I wanted to give a mod chance to correct the problem but I still can't access my PMs or post.

The original account isn't banned but is does appear in red when I log in. I figured a mod would have spotted me by now.

I've now found a mod here... forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php ...and have sent a PM. This is something I couldn't do from my original account.

As we've said here numerous times before do NOT change your email address!!! There's a technical issue where, if you do, you'll be put into a moderation queue that the mods cannot access - only Shawn can. There are people that have been caught in that queue probably for months now.

I know you reached a mod privately, so I'm closing this and letting them reply to you off-board.
