I've been reviewing my stats in my Google Webmaster Tools, and in the 'Not Found' section is this URL http://neforum2.co.uk/PornList/Show...ale&image=kathy_kash.jpg&width=230&height=300 According to the stats this was attempted to be indexed on 23rd June. My site isn't a Porn site and doesn't contain any images like that, so how did it get in the crawl list?
If some place at your own/another's site links/linked to you with a wrong URL, Google will report it as an error to you... I have same issue:
Both of you check your source code for any malicious code. The only time you should see those 404's is when you have an internal broken link or a previous indexed paged that had been deleted.
not true, someone could have posted the link with anything after it on a board or something and google indexed it just create the file and put it as a 301 redirect to your front page, should remove it
With all the sites I have been dealing with I have never seen this and if it could happen it would be a nightmare for all of us. Do you (or anyone else) know of other sites mentioning this problem? I wouldn't mind checking up on it.
http://www.irelandseomarketing.com/blog/this-link-dont-exist.html give it time, google will pick that up and try to index it, and will 404
