Google and Alexa

does google use alexa ranking for its ranking algorithm. Means is there any connection between alexa aranking and google ranking ?

 

No, alexa is probably the most useless data your going to get in my opinion. Oh, did I mention it's borderline spyware?

There is software, sharing, and other techniques that people use to artificially boost their Alexa rankings. Not only that, but it is an incomplete measurement for those sites that do not artifically boost their rankings. As ssandecki noted, it is borderline spyware. Most AV software will detect it.

But to answer the OP's question, Google does not use Alexa in its ranking calculations.

Google and alexa are totally different things

Google SERP or PR are based on different algorithms and alexa is based on the traffic of a site

The only link between them is that a high traffic site is always expected to do good in Google SERP also as google also gives a lot of importance on traffic when it makes the SERP rankings

 

Google doesn't use Alexa.
