I was just wondering, when you write an article to publish to an article directory, is it best to submit that same article to multiple directories or rewrite the content for each?

If you are going to submit across a few directories, your articles will not be accepted by EZA which will give you the most traffic normally. However, if your aim is just to build links, submitting across a lot of categories might help although some said the value of the links will then be discounted.

Ideally you should rewrite the articles for maximum traffic and SEO.

Never use the same content, has to be unique for it to stand any chance of those back links taking effect. When heaps of articles that are found to be the same with the same links, anchor text links, hurts your overall SEO.

Re-write your articles using something like website content wizard to also create unique subject lines and different bio sections with all your anchor text links. Then submit them out using article post robot.

I do this on a monthly basis, spitting out over 10,000 articles, most of my sites now have a minimum of 30,000 back links. :)

I have enquired about the your question too.
Some will say submitting the same content to all the article submission sites will have no effect.

But a lot of people does that. It very useful. Free Link building and some traffic is your bonus.

Best point is it will not negatively effect your site. So, go ahead and try it.

Rewrite and rewrite. The more variations of your articles, the better.

im not endorsing this company at all but ive been using article marketer's submission service and so far it seems pretty good

all the articles i submit are NOT on my website (so they're not duplicates of anything on my domains) but they do get submitted to rougly 1000 directories, and out of that 100 maybe 50-100 publish it

from what i read a lot of a-listers still use article marketing and submit their articles to hundreds of directories instead of just a few, unless they're just lying to get people to buy the products and make them commission?

if you are able to optimize the content for keyword density and for keywords that drive traffic great. if you are also able to make the content that you submit to each article directory unique, even better.
