Oke i found a really awsome IDN domain (atleast i find it nice ) but then when i wanne register it at name.com it aks for a language ???
I noticed that too. I found that by choosing a language like Chinese I was able to get it to accept more different names than if I chose something closer to the Latin character set.
hehe i thoughd i had a golden idea regestering BEER.com in greek capital letters but it only works if people use the codes for greek capital letters and not when they just use capital letters. all the other nice domains are already long taken ^^
Don't go on an IDN-Symbol buying spree people... invest wisely. I'm sure some people will realize that words in other languages attached to .com/.net are valuable also and purchase those instead of the many crappy symbols left. Examples of word domains: ä½å®…ãƒãƒ¼ãƒ³.net (HouseLoan.net in Japanese - Sold for ~$1000+) and ÑофиÑ.com (Sofia.com in Russian - Sold for $2,300 -- Reported by DNJ). PS: I also highly recommend Dynadot.com for IDN purchases.
why would you want a domain you can't type?? 95% of the world don't have this sign on their keyboards.
so what happened to that hypo? was it sold?? the link isn't working?? i knew the owner of those names, they were offerred at the other boards for a peenuts
Most of the domainer have their dreamed domain name - I'm an IDN lover, especially the dingbat - [ £.com ] is my dreamed domain, the other one is [ €.com ]
