QFT, you guys can speculate all day but no one really knows because i'm fairly sure they havn't released that info to the public.
VISA/MS are totally different systems. If they don't have the interest they make from payments or late payments, they would've been out of business long time ago. No they haven't. That was a report done by NYTIMES, assumptions and theories based off Google tax report. Peace,
"VISA/MS are totally different systems. If they don't have the interest they make from payments or late payments, they would've been out of business long time ago." VISA and MasterCard don't charge interest or late fees and thus earn no revenue from them. Individual banks who issue the cards earn those fees. "Out of business a long time ago"??? I guess you were wrong again. "No they haven't. That was a report done by NYTIMES, assumptions and theories based off Google tax report." It wasn't a theory or assumptions from a tax report. The numbers came from their 10-Q. Read their financials and do the math yourself. Google lists the network advertising gross revenue and their TAC right in the financials.
Yes I was. However, they still earn money from issuing the cards and merchants accepting them, that is a big profit: http://www.forbes.com/markets/feeds/afx/2008/02/25/afx4694434.html I did, and I am telling you it is impossible to figure how much Adsense earned or spent based on public tax records. Peace,
I am very familiar with the merchant side of VISA/MC transactions. Depending on the type of your product and volume, you can go as low as 0.55%. Meaning you earn - 99.45%, they earn 0.55%. But it's a whole different thing, since the % depends on the market's profit margin (in case of V/MC), and Google Adsense revenue may have a 10,000,000% profit margin. Cheers.
