Hi, Im launching my new diet product today this is the only place that I have announced it so far so you will be the first posting the articles I have given in the affiliates section.

The sales page is here http://www.secrets2slimming.com I will be tweaking it slightly in the near future.

Im offering 75% on sales and have a pretty good affiliates page here

    http://www.secrets2slimming.com/affiliates.html

There are plenty of banners etc and ive also wrote 20 articles that have never been posted anywhere else.

Let me know what you think and if you can suggest any improbements.

    cheers

So popular in America? What? This is the internet. It's worldwide brother. And yes, these pitch pages work in the UK and in Australia and in every other English speaking country. Sure most CB pages are aimed at the US market but that's only because it is much much bigger than the other markets. There are 300 million people in America, I believe there's only about 50 million in the UK.

Also: give me an example of a UK pitch page for a diet product. I'm very curious about the advanced techniques you Englishmen are using ;)

Point is you guys are looking at it from a marketer's point of view. If you are in this section of DP, it means you are in IM and you have been exposed to this extensively. It's hard to sell to an IM or salesman.

On the other hand, the ordinary person lookin for a solution to a problem and comes across such a page will probably read every word of it and then make a decision whether or not to buy. They don't see these types of sales pages nearly as much as you think!

The page looks a little long. Is there anyway you can condense it.

Spud - You should get someone to proof read the letter. just a real quick glance and I saw 2 things.
    1. the price shows $39 then $37
    2. "Every year people spent billions" - should be "Every year people spend billions"

little things like this will cause someone to not buy.

    Good luck with your product.

sales pitch is way too short for $37 price tag, sales pitch is so-so, and with all the women, it seems like a diet specifically to women.

Hi, thanks just changed I will give it a full proof read.

    I am in the u.k :)

Too short? Someone said it was way to long above :) the sales pitch was wrote by a writer, ill see if I can alter it slightly, it is really aimed at women as I think they would be the people who would buy this stuff.

For some people who don't know these type of landing pages are all over the Internet, not just America.

They have proven to sell, that's why they are used so often.

No matter the niche - the longer the sales page - less chance I will buy.
    That's just me though...

    This can't me generalized ;)

neither would I but we are considered a more specialized or expert internet user/buyer.

So, thank God we sell to less "specialized" users.. :D :D

I think the more advanced you are with the internet and the more you view marketing, the more you become desensitized too it.

But really, we have commercials that are 30 seconds, and we have infomercials that are 30minutes. People generally want a lot of information before they buy.

Doesn't need to be designed specifically that way though. Look at fatloss4idiots. they have a much different design and high gravity.
