I heard that it is a ratio of 0.5 to 0.75 or it is how google admires a website if more valuable and good targetted traffic surely google is gonna yelid less and pay more say take 0.25$ and give away 1$
actually the ads google show on our sites are from adwords campaigns. So basically google makes their adsense money from adwords. Google makes $1 billion a quarter, so basically $4 bill a year... Not bad
I bet they make $3-5 for your 1. It wouldn't be good business if they are paying out more then they are taking in. They wouldn't offer the program, and their stock would nose dive even worse then what it was/is
google shares little over 80% of adsense revenue. so if you make $1, google makes somewhere around 15-20 cents
Just to remind you all - we earn money from Adsense for Content. Adsense for Search has much higher pricing, because the traffic is actually worth something. Either way... never count other people's money. I hope they are making a good profit, and that's enough for me.
They would be out of business. To stay in business, Google must at least make 200% of what you are making. So if ads generate $150 in revenue, you make $50 and Google makes $100. Peace,
azizny, that is not true for sure. sultanofseo's comment is the most accurate I believe. G keeps average of around 20%.
Mathematically is not possible. There is an overhead for Adsense. You need to compute the pay for the designers, maintainers, customer support and many other people. 20% will never do it. Google is there to profit, not loss or stay in margin. Peace,
According to the google report, google are the best revenue sharing with their publisher. They do keep only 20~30% according to their last year report. Mean if you earn $1, google actually is gain around $0.2~$0.3
That's cool, so that means instead of taking the 200% that they can they only take 20% and give you the 80%. That's affiliate service that I can really live with! This has given me the confidence to put my financial future on the line, thanks. http://www.gnarfard.com
Its very hard to say. You would have to work out averages from the earnings of adsense and the cost of Adwords.
THIS. Google is a public company and has to provide detailed financials. Last year, they paid 79% to publishers and kept 21% for themselves. Granted, that was an average, so it could be that the big boys get 90% while the little fish only get 50%, but no one knows for sure.
You're wrong. They get a total average of 21% of adsense revenues. Read their financials. Using your logic, mastercard and VISA would not be in business because they only keep about one percent of each transaction.
