Does anyone not have problems with Google?

I am having problems with Google. I have a website, www.ticosland.com. My PR went from 6 to 4 and my visitors went from 25k per day to around 2k per day. May was excellent, June has been atrocious. All we did was translate the site from Spanish to English. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have never really run into a problem like this. What tool are you using to check your PR? Google tool?

Did the drop it traffic happen straight after you translated the site? How was it translated? have you noticed any drop in indexed pages?

If the whole site was translated it one go, that would mean that your site doubled its content very quickly. this may have been seen as abnormal by Google and they may have dropped some of your pages from the index.
I would guess that this will be temporary and you will regain your traffic soon, (and maybe more because of the translated pages)
This is only a guess by me..

As for suggestions. Well if you can afford to "wait and see" if traffic picks up then do that.. If you cannot afford to, you could always ring Google and ask if anything is wrong, and what you can do to resolve the problem.
It seems you have a popular site, so I would imagine Google will have no problems offering you some advice.

    Hope it picks back up

    Cheers

You were getting 25,000 unique visitors per day with a site written in Spanish?

Or do you mean 25,000 requests in your raw log including bots?

Anyways, when you have that much traffic, DON'T CHANGE IT!!!!!!

First of all, did you happen to change the main title of your website? Well you mentioned that you translated the site from Spanish to English, so my thoughts was the title was affected as well. If yes, that could mean it has to take time to reindex back to the SE.
