How many blogs is too many blogs?

So, we have people with one blog to people with a few dozen... In your opinion, how many blogs is just too many blogs to handle?

Note that in this case, I'm talking about a single individual managing all the blogs. Of course, this individual would have his/her other tasks to do in a day, such as work and school.

So... just how many?

Personally, I think seven would be the very maximum one can run it all alone. It would of course be pushing it tho, as in my view, the individual would need to make three quality posts everyday spread out through the blog, so that each of the seven blogs would have at least three quality posts a week.

I have 7 blogs and a busy forum board. Only the forum and 3 blogs get attention they deserve. Four blogs are neglected and I'm pushing it

 

I have 3 blogs that require daily updating. Of them only 2 are kept up. The other is severely neglected.

 

I have only one blog I am updating it on a regular basis (once or twice a week) with quality unique content. I'm also planning to attach a forum to my blog and maybe a directory (making a small network).

But I belive once you have more than one blog, you cannot manage them all as they deserve. Even one blog is a great challenge for me (to keep it updated, to get higher organic rankings, to get more unique visitors etc).

 

Depends on the individual and the niches of the blogs. But it can be best expressed as the n+1 blog that breaks the camel's back... (yes, I know that didn't help).

 

I have seven that I post to as much as I can. It is time consuming but it brings in some cash every month. It is hard to maintain all seven so three of them are the ones I concentrate on the most.

 

I have 21 blogs but update them around only once per week. Planning to add to max 22 blogs and then I can stop... I believe some people can have to 40 blogs if they want coz they can have their own hired writers..

 

I agree with this statements. There isn't really a fix limit. Thumbs up

 

well sky is the limit,
pro bloggers like jim karter & john chow have hundreds of blogs over the net which inturn result in thousands of $ per month.its upto the person how much he can handle

 

I only have 1 blog which I post everyday and do a show on it for 2 hours in the morning. You can never have too many blogs as long as you can keep them updated.

I only have 1 blog but plan on making a food blog soon. Since I find my girl and I at dinner time fixing our plates like its art.

Too keep a blog updated you must love these 2 things. Writing and your niche.
