Dispute PayPal - Want a refund, tips?

I just bought vBWiki Pro from this page. On that page, it is nowhere declared that the script is unsupported.
I didn't find that out until I had already bought the script and discovered it on their forums and later on their main page which I hadn't accessed before.
I don't want an unsupported script and would there like to have a refund.

How can I make sure that I get a refund?

I haven't done it yet but that's the only thing I can do. The developers have disappeared and can't be contacted through the site.

Well once they make the sale I guarantee they deposited the money into their bank account, and once it has been successfully transfered you won't see that money ever again.

Best thing to do is start a dispute, then escalate to a claim immediately, that will freeze the funds and you "might" have a chance of still getting your money.

You will not get refund in case you charge back, as it is INTANGIBLE Service :) , which is not covered under PayPal User Policy.

But because he is the buyer he will (like he did) become refunded without any problem. Only the seller has problems when it comes to disputes about intangible services

does that mean , if a seller esclates the dispute to the paypal team, he has lesser chances of getting the funds?

Well it means they freeze the funds, so they are not available to him to either take out into his bank account or send to others UNTIL they decide who wins the dispute :)

    You are doing fraud !

You have to look at their first before buying ..

BUy .. then download script .. then chargeback comes under cheating case. If author books a compliant in court you will have to pay the penalty
