My wife was trying to get our 4 year old boy ready for bed the other night. He wanted to watch cartoons, so she used the ON DEMAND thing our cable has and found a channel of old cartoons. She found THE JETSONS and said he sat there and watched every minute of it. THE JETSONS was MY FAVE cartoon growing up. What was yours. Maybe the mods won't send me hateful PMs claiming that THIS thread was "USELESS". Thanks.
Most threads on DP are useless My favourite cartoons were Space Ghost and Birdman. They were both totally ridiculous, but as a kid I thought they were the beez kneez.
I am not that old, but my favorite cartoons as a child were all the disney shows. I loved every cartoon tv show.

Mine would have to be Transformers and Thundercats. I know, Thundercats is kinda lame...oh well, wisdom comes with experience. Transformers though is still an excellent cartoon. And the animated movie is superb.

old school strawberry shortcake was my favorite. not a cartoon, but also mr. rogers and lamb chop lol.
YOU AND I are in the same era! The Smurfs were great! You couldnt go wrong with FAT ALBERT either. My son even now watches SCOOBY DOO! I hear it all day long in the background. He also digs TOM and JERRY. He watches this one called THE COWARDLY DOG SHOW and it has to be the weirdest cartoon I have ever seen in my life. I cant explain it. Its so damn ODD!! He loves it though. I dont know why!!
Spiderman, X-men, Topcat, The Jetsons, Dextors Laboratory, only to name a few lol. The old cartoon are simply the best in my eyes anyways.
