Install Alexa Toolbar in your browser. You can also ask your friends to install it on their browsers and access your site more frequently.
The only this alexa is good for is if you are going to sell advertising on your website. It has nothing to do with search engine ranking.
What are you talking about? Without the toolbar alexa wont track you and what sites you visit thus not raising your alexa rank. As for raising it there are plenty of ways to trick Alexa to raise it really high. Just go on ebay and buy a traffic package like 200,000 hits for 10$ and watch your Alexa shoot up.
After Alexa improved its algo, it is not as easy as before. You cannot just keep refreshing your browser with your site. I like CountryBoy's comments. Yeah, once you'll have a steady stream of traffic, you will see your Alexa ranking improving naturally, hence a higher ad revenue

hei, are you sure your a SEO gurus? Alexa prioritize counts that comes from IP with Alexa toolbar installed. Even if your the only person using your website, with the toolbar installed you can get a good rank. If your site is related to webmaster, most probably your Alexa has a high ranking. This is due because most WM have that toolbar installed.
Just make sure you don't have Adsense on your sites if you are buying traffic. Adsense will ban your account for "invalid impressions".

Alexa ranking isn't that helpful unless you sell ads. Otherwise it is a waste of rankings. You also don't need the toolbar to increase your rankings or index it with them.
