I don't think so, who think age matters o_o.

Young people should not be praised. This internet market wasn't around when I was young even though I am still considerably young at 22. LOL :p

What's your point? Who the hell knows how old you are on the internet. I could say I'm 18 or 72 - how would anyone know?
Who cares how old the person who designed or promotes a website is? It's about as relevant as knowing their weight or shoe size.

Yeah, what is the purpose of this thread? Could at least argue something "out there" and stir a few people up (such as, the only people ever going to make it big on the net are young people because old people can't keep up) :D

Many people under 18 are immature, and people under 18 always will be immature, because (shock horror gasp), they're still teenagers, and even more fun, they're going through that not a kid/not an adult stage.

Though they will argue all day about they're as mature as any adult, just like I did when I was young... :p

    LMAO:D

Frustrated hearing how youngsters are successful in earning on-line and being praised?

where you lack this as you are no more a kid now (and you miss those praises)?

    :p

Who cares. I'm no more amazed at a 12 year old making a million than a 60 year old making a million. To be quite honest, I am more suprised when an older person makes money online than a younger person. They are brought up with computers - old people weren't.

Can you not read? - I said I don't care if the person behind a web-site is 18 or 72.
Or if they weigh 6 stone or 16 stone.
It's the internet - you can be whatever age/size/species you say you are.

btw - I'm a one hundred year old talking hippopotamus. Now prove I'm not

Actually, contrary to popular belief, the average age of someone starting a technology company is over 40.

The young people making money obviously gets more publicity because society hasn't really grasped how the Internet works just yet. Someone with a $5 domain and $20 hosting account can go up against multinational conglomerates with a budget of $millions and win.

I'm 16 so what? Business is business and money is money. How you make it is just that, it's not how old you are...

Age is the measurement of time for a person.. money is something that is judged largely relative to the time in which it takes to gather it.. ergo.. age matters when talking generally about money. 1 million dollars acquired over 70 years is hardly impressive. In 1 day? Wow.

Neither, they make the same amount of money.

Then again, who is more successful:

The person who makes $1,000 a week revenue + profit from the 1 site.

    - or -

The person who makes $1000 revenue a week from 1 site, and makes $100/week profit as he reinvests $900/week in more sites to increase his revenue.

On paper the 1st is more successful, really the 2nd guy is though.

As long as someone is at least 18, it shouldn't make THAT much of a difference. They have to be 18 though, in my opinion, in order to legally be held to contracts.
