I don't know but I have replied like this in many threads and have gotten infractions as well. I think it is because you are not allowed to ask for a member to post of something like that.

Next time, when the thread poster said : "Please write blablabla if you are interested" don't do that!
I did this mistake before and I learn and I won't do that again.
Sometimes we don't need to know "WHY COULD IT HAPPENED?" but we have to think about "WHAT IS THE SOLUTION SO NEXT TIME IT WON"T HAPPEN AGAIN?"

Yea I know its funny how that works I mean I have gotten 2 infractions for posting on threads and doing exactly what they say. But what is even more funnier, some of the other members that posted as well did not get the infraction and they also posted what he said.

I know better now! lol

 

I recieved 3 infractions each of them from scammers. The thing is, there is way too many scammers on DP who pick up dropped domain that still shows PR, put a blog on it with some content quickly and start a thread offering a link on a PR6 site. You enquire about details, they send you a PM, you verify the site, find out that google cache still has an old site there, archive.org shows it was dropped for a few months - in other words, you can tell it's not the real deal and a link from that site will be worthless, so you tell the seller you will pass on this offer - next thing I see, I got an infraction from them....... All 3 of mine are for this.

Dude, I have that book seriously.

 

Here is the solution in more simple words :
- Don't write that kinda post in the future
- Stop questioning about other people infractions. Concentrate your mind
to your own problems.
- Learn from your mistake.

I think it's simple and clear enough.

Yeah there are new rules about bumping threads, if you need information you're supposed to PM the person. I'm sure the OP has an infraction too. Also, be advised about the rule with complaining about infractions, you'll get another one on your way as getjimmy stated.

 

Seems odd logic to me that the poster who initiates these posts is not the only who is punished or given the infraction.

 

I think you got the infraction for lying about how excited you were.

Just read new rules and refrain from posting any unwanted post till the time you are sure of what you are doing
