MOD Rewrite Help Please

    I have been trying to change my URLs. However I cannot seem to get it done correctly. I have used Nintendos guide. However I cannot get it working.

    Could someone make the code to change one URL for me. Then I can look at that one and then I should be able to do the rest myself.

    I want to change:

    www.pokeproject.net/sitemap.php

    To --> www.pokeproject.net/sitemap/

    in php you can just link to it like that.
    like put <a href="http://www.pokeproject.net/sitemap/">http://www.pokeproject.net/sitemap/</a>
    on your homepage.
