    Posting reviews is a good thing and it helps users to select righr product or service availabe in the market....Can anyone tell me about posting reviews can also help in getting rankings on search engines....

    I am not sure for competative keywords but for long tail keywords and less competative keywords reviews are very gud and effective one......................

    Yes, somehow, posting product / service review can help you more to encourage your potential buyers / clients to buy / avail your products / services. Still, you need to have good SERP in some other ways.

    Of course making a review is also optimize your SERP, since it gave you backlink, counted as the natural one :)
