Credit card affiliate sites profitable?

How profitable are credit card affiliate based sites these days? Seems like it would be pretty competitive for getting traffic because im sure many people are attracted to the high payouts (like with web hosting affiliates).

It's definitely profitable but like you said the industry is pretty competitive.

 

Ive always relied on getting SERPS through original content, but there isn't much in the way of original articles for credit card applications/reviews. Seems like with such a highly competitive niche and lots of people buying links it would be tough to even get a few hundred visits a month.

 

Getting a good SERP takes ages if it's a new site,better use ppc if you have something to promote.

no i don't promote those offers at all...

I think he is using many.

 

They are competitive which is why i don't promote those.
