I have a new PR6 Bidding Directory www.LionsAnime.com and things have been going well. I have not been allowing any adult site submissions and am curious if this is usually the best practice with a bidding directory or if others have had more business allowing them?
Ah so it was you that bought it from Tufans. Its up to you when reviewing adult sites. Do you want them in there? Would your visitors. I suspect your audience is mostly webmasters visiting to submit a link, most of them won't actually care.
The reason I ask is that one of my potential customers complained earlier today because another bidding directory listed in my top ten had a lot of porn on the main page of their site (she clicked thru to it) and she wasn't too happy. When I approved the listing, I just took it for another bidding directory and never actually looked at it. Guess I need to look a little closer at these Just curious what the norm is in regards to working with adult content? Is guess if a lot of people are going to have the same reaction she did earlier today, then prolly best to stay away from it....
This is why "directory" owners need to review sites more closely and not just press the approve button.
That can't be the directory pr with no cached topics, is it from the forum it used to be by any chance?
Unfortunately Lionsanime is a PR6 bid directory - and yes, I'd put it at 99% of the backlinks were gained from when the site was an anime-related forum., as told by the sources of the high PR backlinks. Good luck with it anyway - nobody wants to see porn on a directory so my answer is no!
it can be better to distribute PR 6 links after getting a link from GOOGLE. as someone said above NO cache for this directory. but if seller and buyer are happy with the trade good idea to earn from a PR 6 directory.
It was cached, I looked into this bid directory a couple of months ago. Seems you've been flogged a dead horse mate, because Google have banned this directory from their index. Suppose we all have to learn one way or another Unfortunately you've got burnt, how much did you pay for it?
It's no longer indexed - well and truly gone from Google. Definitely a penalty, and very doubtful it will be back, most likely due to the way the previous owner marketed the fact it sold pagerank. Unfortunately there's nothin' you can do
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=site:www.lionsanime.com&btnG=Search Yep. Tufans has sold you a banned site...
Just bought this site like a week and a half ago. Up until now it had over 100 pages indexed in Google and was cached. Why would they all of a sudden ban it? It's been a directory for months now!? Errrrr.....
No you don't. You've got a pr6 domain name, with a directory on it. I guess if you call being de-indexed as going well, then yes you are.
I saw this and just had to shake my head - the saga continues..... It looks like the one who got taken is trying to pass it on.
