    Pardon my ignorance on this bit, but will a squidoo lens be good only as a way to generate traffic to a site, or will it also be good as a revenue source in itself?

    Squidoo lenses do make revenue within themselves which they call royalties..well the thing is..if ur selling amazon or ebay products through a lens and if u make a sale then squidoo pays u a small sum..also if u hav quite a few lenses and they get good traffic u also make quite some money from the adsense ads which are placed on ur lenses by squidoo themselves..though i don't personally recommend them..squidoo is best for niche marketing..getting quality backlinks to ur site is the main reason for using squidoo.. thanks..:)

    I received my lens this morning, and I was very pleased with it.

    I'm curious if anyone say any traffic from their lens? I did it for the backlinks but some traffic would be nice as well.

    Hey i'm glad u liked it..as far as the traffic is concerned i'll try n get the lens up in the SERPs for a few long tail keywords..i already mentioned that i'll only do the initial SEO for the lenses..promoting it is a whole different story..but i've given it a thought and thinkin about opening up a few blogs whr i'll post about the recent lenses being made..but it'll take few days guys as im really busy nowadays..anyway thanks for ur support n i look forward to entertain u guys better..:)
