Hi There, sorry for making my first post a request. Does anyone know of any free scripts for PHP, that are not just link management scripts. I was thinking of one more like freeindex.co.uk which when you click on a name, it takes you to a separate page with that companies details on. I did look on the list with the free directory scripts on this forum, but they all seem to be link management ones like duncan carver. Thanks Colin
phpLD has detail pages for each listing, well i know in the paid version, im not 100% sure on the free version. Are you specifically after a free script only? When you desire specific features or that bit more its not always with the free versions.
Its not the number that people care about, more the principle. Cowardly and pathetic is probably what SM is thinking.
thanks for the reply guys. I am going to try the free phpLD with a view to upgrading Not sure if i understand this, or if is was directed at me
No, sorry colindiffer, it wasn't aimed at you - since that tosser can't leave me (Mikey's description matches the characteristics) negative rep again, I'll go out and say it: If you like, you can also try the free phpLynx trial, which can be downloaded here.
I love these kind of threads when they start with 'does anyone know of a php script and then invariably it gets dived on by a load of people shoving one script or another down the OP's throat. Do a search and you'll see almost the identical answer including the 'upgrading' comment on more than one occasion. Makes you think don't it. Good luck whatever script you chose Colin, in truth you should try more than one as you'll find some time down the line your going to end up spending money you might not have bargained for if you jump at the first one.
Shame I couldn't edit the last post or I would have. This message is for the troll who left the red, I clearly hit a raw nerve huh! Shame you never had the balls to leave your name though.
I'm not sure your aware of this but trolling and posting stupid answers for the sake of bumping up your post count is not going to do you any favours. I gave you green earlier, any more crappy posts and it will be red next time. There's enough rubbish posted here as it is.
