why signatures can not be indexed by google?

I found DP new threads can be indexed so fast by Google but why signatures can not be indexed at the same time ???

 

Because google hates paid links.....and they have found that people are selling signature links here

What do you mean "signature indexed" ????

You mean the actual site in your sig? That takes time, it can take up to 3 months in some cases.

I see plenty of backlinks from my signatures, don't know what your talking about. They get crawled via the threads just fine.

and yes agree with sandecki (as usual ) they work just fine. if they didnt index your site maybe they thought it didnt add any value to the internet? either way, not the greatest advert to pay you the $dollar is it?

depends on the forum.

look at the source code from the post to signature link, and you will need to determine that with every forum

but they are not indexed..are they considered as a backlink?

 

I'm not talking about dofollow or nofollow.

Forums have a different code for how they divide posts/signatures.
I have seen forums that have dofollow, but would never show up on my backlinks. DP is one of the first forums that I have seen that they actually give some juice. (Both forums have dofollow, and high PR ranking)

Google indexes threads so fast because it reads the external data source from DP and "not" because it crawls threads. The external data source doesn't contain signature links.

Google "does" still crawl threads and indexes signatures, but it takes a lot longer and signatures are worth next to nothing for backlinks.

 

Well it takes time and also the thread needs to be crawl frequently so that google will count your links in forums.

 

Signatures here can help your sites being indexed but usually google didn't count them as backlinks.

 

But new DP threads are new site pages. Aren't they?

Signature links are worth it, if you are posting you might as well have a signature. Whether or not they are a big benefit is hard to say, some people say yes others no. I think it is worth it, though I would be surprised if in the near future nofollow becomes alot more popular or google makes some changes to combat the link generation in forums, blog replies etc.

 

Signature links are also good linking strategy , but from single IP which are all grouped as one link unit from search engines so even you have 100 or more sig. links, it's not better than 100 links from 100 IPs. Popularity is not the same as quantity.
