$50 Baby Making Contest

I need a header/logo that fits the attached blank for a site that will be called Baby Making.

The site is about pregnancy advice and getting pregnant, so I would like the colors to have a motherly/baby feel, pastel pinks, greens and blues etc but I don't want too much actual babyness on there, as the site is about getting pregnant and being pregnant and not about the following childcare.

I would like some kind of illustration along with the text, but what illustration I don't know, perhaps an abstract idea, I'll leave it up to you.

The competition will close Monday evening at 8PM BST (British Summer Time) and the winner will be chosen soon after the same day.

Winner will be paid via Paypal and must send all files; fonts, layered PSDs, PNGs or whatever you use to make the piece.

All entries get feedback as we go along.

I was going to give up on this and just do it myself, but I thought I'd give it another chance to get answers as it may have just slipped off the radar because I posted it at such an obscure time, last thing on a Sunday.

If anyone's interested in entering I'll leave it open until this time tomorrow.

That looks nice. I can't think of anything to suggest to make it better, just have to see if any others enter with different ideas.

I tried my hand at it, I really dont know what else to put on it...

 

I'm not too sure myself, perhaps some kind of abstract fertilizing egg thing? I think Hecky's looks a bit like that, not sure if that was done on purpose though?

blurredfringe, I like the pregnant woman silhouette, but I don't want to use it if you didn't draw it yourself. The green is a bit too bright perhaps.

Nora, try using a font with round edges, I think it might look a bit more friendly.

A contest thread is not the place to joke and chat, it's unprofessional. If you would like to share something with other designers you could always use the pm system.

 

Nora, the colors are nice, not sure about the heart idea though.
